Start with Fast. Use Pro when the task needs more thought.

Fast is a useful starting point for rewriting an email, translating a paragraph or asking for an explanation. Try Pro for a problem with several steps, such as debugging code or working through a calculation. Neither mode guarantees a correct answer; check the parts you plan to rely on.

Give the chat something specific to work with. For example: “Rewrite this email so it sounds polite but direct. Keep it under 100 words: [paste your draft].” Follow up with what you want changed, or choose New chat when you move to a different topic.

Compare Fast vs Pro sends the same request to both modes so you can compare their answers. It uses two messages from your daily allowance, including one Pro message. Ask about DeepSeek is for questions about its services, such as where to sign in. Check any linked official source for details that may have changed.

What you can send, and how much you can use

You can send up to 6,000 characters and attach up to four images per message. Supported image types are JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP, up to 5 MB each. PDF and Word uploads are not supported; paste the relevant text instead. The chat does not browse the web or read a page just because you paste its link.

The current allowance is 50 messages a day, including up to 10 in Pro. The counter in the chat shows what you have left, and daily limits reset at midnight UTC. Shorter-term limits also apply if you send messages quickly. Free access can pause when the site reaches its monthly capacity.

Your conversations and privacy

Saved conversations stay in this browser, so they will not automatically appear on another device. Use the export controls to keep a copy as plain text or Markdown.

Privacy Mode stops new local saves and removes the current conversation from saved history. It stays visible until you leave it. Your other saved conversations are not deleted; remove those separately if needed.

Local history is separate from processing: when you send a message, its text, attached images and recent conversation context pass through Chat-Deep to DeepSeek’s API. Privacy Mode does not prevent that processing or promise that no service retains data. See the Chat-Deep Privacy Policy for how the site and its providers handle information, including processing in China. Do not send passwords, payment details or confidential material.

If a message will not send

Copy any unsent text, reload the page and try a short text-only message. If the chat reports a usage limit, follow the message and wait before trying again. For a security-check error, make sure your browser allows the site’s required scripts, or try another current browser.

If the problem continues, contact Chat-Deep with the error message, leaving out private conversation content. You can also check DeepSeek’s official service status; that reports the provider’s services, not every problem with this site.
