An independent website about DeepSeek

Chat-Deep.ai is not an official DeepSeek service. It is not owned, operated, sponsored, certified, endorsed by, or affiliated with DeepSeek, Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd., or High-Flyer. We publish independent explanations and operate our own browser chat. Using the DeepSeek API does not make us DeepSeek’s partner or representative.

We cannot access or change official DeepSeek accounts, passwords, API keys, billing records, or support cases. For official products, downloads, accounts, documentation, and support, start at the official DeepSeek website. Our website FAQ also identifies the official destinations for common tasks. The About page explains who publishes this site.

References to DeepSeek, model names, API names, product names, trademarks, logos, and related terminology are used for identification, commentary, comparison, interoperability, educational, and informational purposes. Third-party trademarks and brand assets belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply affiliation, authorization, sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement.

Our articles, sources, and review process

Every article and substantive content update receives human review before publication. The publisher or a designated reviewer reads the proposed content and checks its information, sources, and examples. AI tools assist with preparation and checks; they do not replace this review or the publisher’s responsibility for editorial decisions and corrections. Our Editorial Policy describes the process.

Our current guides are based on official or original sources. An explanation of a documented feature is not a claim that we performed a live test. It does not mean that every external service is continuously monitored or that an earlier test was repeated. The browser chat, local history, and provider processing

Our browser chat is free to use without a Chat-Deep.ai account, subject to fair-use limits. It is separate from DeepSeek’s official chat, app, developer account, and billing service. The chat page explains its current features and limits.

When you send a message, its text, any attached images, and relevant conversation context pass through Chat-Deep.ai’s infrastructure to the DeepSeek API to generate an answer. Turning off local saving does not stop that transmission. Our Privacy Policy explains the processing, service providers, international transfers, retention, and privacy-request routes for this website.

When local history is on, conversations are saved in your browser’s storage on your device. They do not automatically sync to another browser or device. Privacy Mode stops new local saves and removes the current conversation from saved history; it does not delete older conversations. Export anything you need before deleting it. Clearing this site’s browser data removes local conversations and may reset preferences and cookie choices. We cannot recover history stored only on your device.

Our application does not keep a server-side conversation history, as described in our Privacy Policy. Temporary processing, hosting records, and limited technical, security, diagnostic, or abuse-prevention records are separate. Providers may retain records under their applicable terms, settings, contracts, and legal obligations. Deleting local history does not erase information already processed or retained by a provider.

This is not a zero-retention service. DeepSeek’s context-caching documentation says caching is enabled by default and that unused cache is usually cleared within a few hours to a few days. That describes the cache, not a deletion deadline for every API record. DeepSeek’s Open Platform Terms also distinguish its own privacy policy from the processing rules that downstream applications disclose to their users.

Check chat answers before relying on them

Browser-chat answers are generated automatically by the model. They are not reviewed articles from our editorial team, and a response about DeepSeek or this website is not an official support decision. Answers can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, misleading, unsafe, or unsuitable for your task. They may invent facts, citations, links, code behavior, prices, or product capabilities. A confident answer is not proof of correctness.

  • Verify important claims and source links against reliable primary sources.
  • Test code, calculations, configurations, and instructions in a safe environment before use.
  • Review outputs for privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, bias, safety, and compliance risks.

  • Disclose AI use where a law, policy, employer, school, publisher, platform, or professional standard requires it.

You are responsible for your submissions, how you use published or saved AI outputs, and the decisions or actions you take based on the Service.

No professional or high-stakes advice

Our articles, examples, and browser-chat responses are for general informational and educational purposes. Nothing on the Service constitutes legal, medical, financial, tax, investment, accounting, insurance, employment, regulatory, cybersecurity, engineering, safety, emergency, or other professional advice.

Do not use the Service as the sole basis for decisions involving health, safety, legal rights, financial loss, regulatory duties, critical infrastructure, security incidents, employment, education assessment, or other high-impact matters. Consult an appropriately qualified professional or official authority and independently verify the relevant information.

Keep sensitive information out of submissions

Do not submit passwords, API keys, access tokens, payment details, identity documents, medical records, legal files, confidential business information, trade secrets, private source code, customer or employee data, or other sensitive information through the chat, contact form, comments, or other site submissions. Privacy Mode does not make such material suitable to send. Do not submit another person’s personal information unless you have the legal authority and appropriate safeguards to do so.

Prices, tokens, and cost estimates

Our pricing explanations distinguish published provider rates from illustrative cost calculations. A quoted rate applies to the product, plan, market, billing period, and unit identified beside it. We use US dollars unless another currency is explicitly stated. An app subscription, API usage, and running a model on your own hardware are separate costs.

Token estimates, worked examples, and budget projections depend on their stated assumptions. Actual charges can differ because of tokenization, cache hits and misses, model choice, retries, taxes, currency conversion, account credits, rounding, billing rules, and provider price changes. An example is not a quote, invoice, billing guarantee, or promise of free credits.

Before purchasing or setting a production budget, check the provider’s current terms and your account. For DeepSeek API usage, consult the official pricing documentation and your platform billing records.

Status and availability information

For reported DeepSeek service incidents, consult DeepSeek’s official status page. It reports the provider’s services, not every problem with Chat-Deep.ai. Our guides are not a live monitoring service. Any dated availability or latency measurements retained in our research describe only their stated scope and time window; they do not guarantee that every region, endpoint, model, or account is working normally.

Code, prompts, and security examples

Code samples, prompts, configurations, deployment patterns, and security checklists illustrate an approach. Review against documentation or a local syntax check does not establish that an example was run against the live service. Sample data, proposed replies, and illustrative outputs should not be treated as captured product results unless the page identifies them as such.

Examples may need adaptation, testing, dependency updates, access controls, logging rules, legal review, or other safeguards before production use. We do not guarantee that a sample is secure, compatible, free from defects, or suitable for your environment.

Advertising and editorial independence

Chat-Deep.ai uses Google AdSense advertising to help support site operations. We do not currently use affiliate links or publish sponsored editorial content. Advertising is separate from editorial decisions and does not buy a favorable conclusion. Any material commercial relationship affecting how readers should interpret our coverage will be disclosed.

An advertisement is not our endorsement of the advertiser, product, service, offer, or claim. Transactions or communications with advertisers are between you and the relevant advertiser.

Availability and warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, continued coverage of a specific model or availability of a particular site feature, error-free operation, accuracy, completeness, security, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every device, region, browser, or use case.
