At Deep AI Chat, we prioritize the security and privacy of our users. As a platform for interacting with DeepSeek’s AI models, Chat‑Deep.ai implements robust measures to protect your data while you chat. This page outlines our key security practices and explains how we handle your information to ensure a safe experience.
(Note: Chat‑Deep.ai is an independent platform and is not affiliated with the official DeepSeek developers.)
Data Storage and Privacy
- Local Chat Storage: We do not store your conversations on our servers. All chat history is saved locally in your web browser using built-in storage (e.g. localStorage). This means your messages stay on your device and are never sent to or stored in any cloud database on our end.
- No conversation content stored on our servers: Deep AI Chat does not store chat messages or conversation history on its own servers. Conversations are handled through the browser interface, and chat content is not retained by Deep AI Chat after the session ends. Depending on the configuration, prompts may be transmitted directly from your browser to the model provider or routed through a temporary proxy for delivery purposes. In either case, Deep AI Chat does not persist conversation content or maintain server-side chat logs. Chat history may remain locally in your browser for convenience and can be cleared at any time using your browser settings or the “Clear Chat” option. Once cleared, the chat content is removed from your device and cannot be recovered by Deep AI Chat.
- No Account Required: You can use Chat‑Deep.ai without creating an account or providing personal details. We do not ask for login credentials, so we hold no personal identifiers like usernames or passwords in our system. This minimizes the amount of sensitive data retained by the platform.
Transport Security
- Encrypted Connections: All traffic between your browser and Chat‑Deep.ai is sent over HTTPS and protected by Transport Layer Security (TLS). We enforce TLS for every request—including when you submit a prompt and receive a response generated via DeepSeek models. This industry‑standard encryption helps protect your data in transit by reducing the risk of interception or tampering on the network, so your interactions travel through a secure, encrypted channel.
- Site Verification: You can verify our site’s security by checking for the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar, which indicates a valid SSL/TLS certificate. We keep our certificates up to date and follow modern best practices (such as strong ciphers and protocols) to maintain a secure connection for users.
Hosting and Infrastructure
- Private Server Hosting: Chat‑Deep.ai is hosted on a dedicated private server that we control directly – not on a public cloud platform. By self-hosting our service, we maintain full control over the environment and security configurations, rather than relying on a third-party cloud provider’s protections. This reduces external dependencies and exposure, as no outside cloud staff or service has access to our servers or data.
- Server Security Measures: Our servers are secured following industry best practices. We apply regular security updates and patches to the operating system and software. Firewalls and network monitoring are in place to prevent unauthorized access. Only authorized administrators have access to the infrastructure, and all access points are protected with strong authentication. We also monitor for any suspicious activity or intrusions and employ data backups (for system integrity, not user chat content) to aid in recovery if ever needed.
Third-Party Services
- Advertising (Google AdSense): We utilize Google AdSense to display ads on Chat‑Deep.ai. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites. These advertising cookies help personalize the ads you see. Importantly, we do not share any personal information you enter on our site with advertisers. Google’s use of cookies is governed by their privacy policies, and you can opt out of personalized advertising through Google’s Ads Settings if desired.
- Contact Form: Our site includes a contact form you can use to reach us. Any information you submit (such as your email address and message) is sent securely to our team. We use these details only to respond to your inquiry. Contact form submissions are transmitted over the same HTTPS encryption, and we treat your information as confidential. We do not use contact form data for any purpose other than direct communication with you, and we never sell or expose these details to third parties.
Abuse Handling and Usage Limits
- No Automated Rate Limiting (Yet): At this time, Chat‑Deep.ai does not enforce strict automated rate limits on user requests. Many online services use rate limiting to cap how many actions a user or bot can perform in a given time period (for example, to prevent spam or DDoS attacks). We have opted not to implement rigid limits initially, to allow an uninterrupted experience for legitimate users. However, this means we currently rely on trust and courtesy — we expect users to utilize the service responsibly.
- Monitoring and Manual Intervention: While we don’t have an AI-driven abuse detection system or formal content filtering in place yet, we do keep an eye on overall usage patterns for extreme abuse. If we notice excessive or malicious activity (e.g. scraping, spam, or denial-of-service attempts), we reserve the right to intervene. Such intervention may include throttling service temporarily or blocking offending IP addresses to maintain stability. As our community grows, we are evaluating more automated solutions for abuse prevention that won’t disrupt normal use. Our goal is to balance open access with protective measures as needed, and we will update our users if and when more stringent systems are put in place.
Vulnerability Reporting
Security Feedback & Disclosure: We strongly encourage responsible disclosure of any security vulnerabilities or concerns. If you discover a potential security issue with Chat‑Deep.ai, please notify us immediately at Info@chat-deep.ai. Having a dedicated security contact (such as a security@ email) is a best practice we follow to ensure researchers can reach us easily. When reporting an issue, provide as much detail as possible (e.g. steps to reproduce, screenshots, etc.) so our team can quickly understand and address the problem. We pledge to acknowledge security reports promptly and to fix any verified issues as a top priority. Your efforts in helping us improve the platform’s security are greatly appreciated — we recognize and thank researchers/users who aid in keeping Chat‑Deep.ai safe.
